I enjoy the artist challenges of three-dimensional work. I work mostly in high fire porcelain. I especially favor the older reduction glazes such as temmoku, shino, celadon or chun. When fired correctly the celadon and chun can have a deep translucent surface that is impossible to duplicate, and they look great over carving.

Each of my pieces is one of a kind, made by hand. I make my own glazes and stay away from barium and other toxic ingredients.
