Ralphie Hendrix

I've been painting for over 15 years exploring various techniques.

I've been into pastels for more than 2 years. I'm now able to achieve the light that seemed to elude me with oils. But I guess that’s life. I had to go along this road to lead me to where I now stand.

I am currently in love with pastels.

I'm a member of the Southern Humboldt Art Association, the Mateel Arts Cooperative,  the Ink People, the West Coast Pastel Society, the Redwood Art Association, the Pastel Society of America, and the Sierra Pastel Society of Oregon.

In 2008 I won 5 major awards from the West Coast Pastel Society, the Oregon Pastel Society, the California State Fair, and theSanta Cruz Art League.
