I’m in awe of the beauty found in nature and that's the inspiration for my photography. I enjoy hiking and finding the images that I photograph in their natural state illuminated solely by the sun.

Digital cameras and image processing with the computer has provided unlimited opportunities to explore and refine images. I can now enjoy state-of–the art photography and print making from my remote solar-powered home studio.

My images have illustrated several publications, and I've won two awards in statewide competition.  My photograph “Frog & Water Lily” has been published on a greeting card currently available from Palm Press. 

In January 2010 the Canadian Postal Service issued a postal stamp showing my photograph of the striped coralroot orchid.
