When you visit us you will be greeted by a local artist, proud to show you the many unique offerings of our creative community.

The purpose of the Mateel Artist Cooperative is to encourage art in the Southern Humboldt/Northern Mendocino area of northern California

We wish to bring together local artists by providing a dynamic gallery space for the display and sales of local art in all media

We also organize community shows such as Arts Alive and Emerging Young Artists

We support art education with fundraising events and a scholarship program

Gallery space is available to all local artists wishing to display and sell their work

All creative folks living in our region are invited to make art and join us
